I started learning piano in third grade, picked up the guitar in fifth, and wrote my first song at fifteen while visiting Athens, Greece with my family. Since then, I have written dozens upon dozens of songs, all still very alive in my life today. I continue to write, record, and explore new ideas, and my next album is well underway. I can’t wait to begin the one after it, but first I am determined to finish this one the way it deserves.

My near-term ambition is simple: keep creating. Keep building the record, keep experimenting, and eventually launch a livestream of practice sessions, recording days, or just goofing around with the boys. I am lucky to collaborate with my great friend Joe Boyle, the most gifted guitar player I have ever known and an exceptional producer, arranger, and human being. Something genuinely magical happens when we get in a room together. I am also fortunate to work with my long-time friend and collaborator Mark Alan Miller, a brilliantly talented artist, engineer, and all-around wonderful person.

When I was a kid, I wanted a Grammy. I still want a Grammy, and I am still very much that kid.

Why do I make music? It makes me happy. I am good at it. And there is nothing quite like knowing someone out there is connecting with something I created. Music is a universal, unifying force, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that community.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you again soon.
